Shrooms: Chapter 2

For this, you might need a snack as it will be a bit of a long story, or I can just cut it short and say I made it all up!

But this is not the reason why you’re still reading this so far, aren’t you curious?

I had questions too, and these questions had me going crazy looking for answers.

So, as usual, I went out to take a walk in the Metaverse, as I was passing by the shrooms field I decided that I wouldn’t pick or even look for new shrooms that day, I had three shrooms that I was still experimenting with without knowing their traits yet!

I turn away to continue walking, but suddenly I feel the Meta-earth shaking as if it was a Meta-earthquake!

I started panicking and I knew that it was real this time!

The last time I got this scared was when I was tripping on happy.

Anyways… back to the queen, everything was shaking under me and as I was turning around to see what was causing all this, the zombies were already attacking other shrooms to infect them!

They soon created a ring around one shroom in the center of it all, the center was shining bright like a diamond hehe to the point you could not see anything!

Then I understood what was happening and realized that the golden shroom was turning these shrooms into zombies and giving them the ability to move while no other shroom can move, NOT EVEN THE GOLDEN SHROOM CAN MOVE!!

a bit ironic don’t you think?

I started running through the shrooms with my eyes closed but even when they were closed I was able to feel the warmth of that bright light and sort of see it through my eyelids. The closer I got to the light source the warmer it felt, I slowed down as I got so close and the heat got more intense to the point it burnt my skin, kept on getting closer and closer trying to get to it as fast as possible so I won’t be burnt alive!

My eyes were closed so tight, with one hand covering my face and the other reaching to the shroom, I extended my hand to the heat source and snatched it!

The golden shroom had an immense amount of power, that power was absorbed from the Meta-earth and as soon as I lifted it from the ground it started absorbing my energy. In those seconds I had contact with the golden shroom I exchanged energies with the shroom and we became one!

It gave me the power to control the zombie shrooms and stop them from attacking other shrooms and transforming them into zombies.

The golden shroom was able to communicate telepathically with me as one entity, I was able to understand what it felt and everything it said made sense to me, It even healed my burnt skin, the bright light is not so bright anymore but only to me as my eyes adapted to it through the connection with the golden shroom.

“We’re one” it kept whispering to me in my head, “I’m your queen and you’re my king” I felt the need to lift it as if my hand was not mine anymore, as soon as I raise it the zombie shrooms were standing in attention around me slowly moving towards me.

Queen: don’t be afraid, I’m their queen, they can’t harm you, my king!

Me: but how can I be a king when I’m nobody?

Queen: LISTEN TO ME GODDAMN IT!

STOP THIS SELF-DOUBT SH*T AND COMMAND THEM!

LOOK HOW YOU STARTED ALL THIS WITH JUST ONE SINGLE THOUGHT UNTIL YOU GOT HERE!

Me: bu...

Queen: I SWEAR ON THE HOLY SHROOM THAT I WILL SUCK YOU DRY!

Me: …

Queen: NOT LIKE THAT YOU PERVERT!

Me: I didn’t even say anything!!!

QueenShroom sucks energy

Queen: you THOUGHT of it! and how funny it would be, I can read your mind just like you can read mine and that happened because you’re chosen to do this!

Why do you think I turned them into zombies now?

Just as you were walking out, I had to show you my powers now, I needed to make sure that you’re on the right path here on the Metaverse first, so I can affect the real world.

You do what you want here from now on and know that my shrooms are under your command, but your world is gonna be affected by what you do here.

Me: umm…

Queen: LET ME FINISH!! And stop putting Happy on random items without a proper design, it was horrible and ugly how you massacred my boy.

You either get your sh*t together and start acting like a king!

Me: will suck you dry and not in a funny way, got it.

Queen: exactly!

We don’t need you to create anything physical for our sake, we only belong on the blockchain, not necessarily need to be in your world like that!

Me: I have to make money you know, I might be a king here but I’m the closest thing to nobody in my world!

Queen: THIS .. IS .. YOUR .. LAST .. TIME .. SAYING SH*T LIKE THIS!

Show them your art already!

Stop using us like this, you’re the king now and this is your kingdom, take care of my people.. shrooms' lives matter!

Don’t kill us like you killed happy!

Me: happy is dead!?

Queen: yes, you did it!

Happy feeds on creativity and positive vibes, do you see or feel anything like that in your items?

Me: I can redo them all!!

Queen: it’s too late, he’s just a lifeless nameless shroom now, not happy anymore.

You can use the shrooms as you please here but not in your world, I’ll know how to prepare them better for your world depending on their needs, not yours!

Me: I… umm.. okay, we’ll try it your way for now and...

Queen: FOR... E V E R!!! can you feel the slo-mo here

Go back to your abstract expressionism and leave my people alone!

Me: BUT I'M NOT READY YET!
