Value in Artists

So I’ve been thinking about how it would be valuable to invest in artists rather than PFP projects for a very long time now.

I came up with a couple of ideas and the last one I’m sure most artists will relate to on a deeper level.

In this day and time, we are constantly consuming content if it was videos, photos, or just plain text.

All forms of content will pay off with time, the impact of it will show when you are consistent with what you post.

As an artist you are not limited to a specific number to cap your created NFTs, you get to collaborate and make more art as you want.

That’s the whole spirit of decentralization IMO.

From a collector’s perspective, scarcity is important to get a return on the initial investment you made.

If it was for supporting the artist or because you genuinely believe in the artist and their art.

From a marketplace perspective, if you are selling your art that appeals to a larger collector base, they also get to make money.

Balancing that number of minted NFTs and sold NFTs relies on you, the more you sell the more everyone is making money.

But doesn’t that takes away from the scarcity of your art?

An interesting thing is that you are not limited to one style or collection!

Your freedom as a creative is what makes you important, in a way you are the asset that makes the money.

The way I see it, and from observing how the market is changing, it’s best to stick to what you know and keep on improving it.

Test out new things too, but make sure to balance it out.

Trial and error are best to see how things work out for you, I mean that’s also how I see it.

Feel free to be free and support who you want to support.

Mint or don’t mind, at the end of the day, it’s you and your talent.

The cycle never stops!

Make art, share the process, choose to mint or not, and then promote, amplify or market (whatever the word you like to use) the heck out of it, and be creative with it too!

The rain always starts with a drop 💧
