How BARI started

June 2021 was the first time I hear about NFTs, it was through a coworker who said “NFTs can make you a lot of money just by selling photos” I will not forget those words for the rest of my life!

Because it was the first step toward changing it.

I didn’t care much about it at first, I thought it was just a scam or money laundering, later on, I do some google search magic since I was bored and had an itch to learn something new.

The first thing I find on the internet is “non-fungible token” WTF IS A NON-FUNGIBLE TOKEN!?

So I looked up the word fungible

After reading it I still didn’t understand what does it mean, it made me feel stupid for a moment so I kept on digging and found out it’s related to crypto. I didn’t know ANYTHING about crypto except for the bad reputation it has for doing the two things I first thought of, scams, money laundering, and some other shady stuff.

So I dropped it, and I stopped searching or even considering it.

But I wouldn’t be writing this if I just stopped there!

Now it’s July, once again I get another suggestion of turning my art to NFTs from someone I know but me knowing only the shady part of it I shut it down and refused to even hear it. The conversation continues but in a different direction, now we talking business and making money online, we talk dropshipping, Facebook ads, print-on-demand, selling services, and all that good stuff.

I liked the idea of starting a business but didn’t feel like doing something that I didn’t want or even liked, I wanted to be an artist and make my money as a creative being, but I knew it wouldn’t be easy coming from a family of doctors on both sides, but for as long as I can remember I was always drawing, always not following what people told me to do, I just did what I wanted, when I wanted and how I wanted.

July is coming to an end and I didn’t take any action yet, I was contemplating and constantly thinking about, WHAT DO I WANT?

I wanted to be an artist, make money as an artist, and share my knowledge with whoever had that same dream. But the thing is I was not in the position of making money as an artist yet nor sharing any knowledge.

It’s the 30th of July and at least now I figured out what I wanted, and the idea of BARI has been brought to existence.

A year passed and my art has been sold in different parts of the world!

My dream is becoming my reality, throughout this year I’ve learned a lot about crypto, art, marketing, and so many other things I can’t wait to share with you.

It’s been a beautiful journey, full of experiences of all kinds, I’m proud of how far I’ve got and how much I learned, grateful for all the things I got to experience and saw the bright side of every situation because, without it, I wouldn’t be here.
