Start With Magic

Why there are so many ZombieShrooms!!?

Heading out of the lab after running more tests on shrooms, I see my equipment shaking and clacking, running to the exit I hear “WHY THERE ARE SO MANY ZOMBIES!!”

That’s what the QueenShroom shouted inside my head!

Right before I got attacked by her army of zombies that were holding her on top of them so she can move around the metaverse, my left leg was attacked first.

I knew I could’ve stepped on them, but you can’t kill what’s already dead!

Those new zombies are not like the rest of the zombies I’ve created...

oh! I forgot to mention I was behind the creation of the new zombies, not the queen.

I got more powerful now, I’ve learned how to use the power I had gained from the queen and now I can even be stronger than the queen!

Back to the attack...

They held my legs and started compiling on top of each other and leaning on me, pushing me back and pinning me to the wall of my lab!

They are reaching my waistline, and my body started to feel heavier, I kept on pushing them away and tried to break free but it wasn’t working, they refused to even budge!

I stood still and didn’t move, my hands were now covered with zombies, they’d reached my chest now and I can’t breathe!

The QueenShroom shouted again inside my head!

“WHY ARE THERE SO MANY ZOMBIES!!?”

I tried to think of anything other than what I did, so she wouldn’t be able to read my mind, I had to concentrate on my breathing now, those zombies were suffocating me!

I can’t hold my breath any longer under the zombies' pressure!

I DID IT!!

I HAD TO DO IT !!

In a very quick movement all zombies scattered around my lab floor, I fell to my knees gasping for air, the queen approached me on top of her zombies, looking at the tiles of the lab floor seeing the reflection of the queen’s light getting closer to me until suddenly my forehead touched her.

I started feeling numb and saw nothing but a black space surrounding me, all the zombies were gone even the queen is now gone!

I’m not even in my lab anymore!

I stood up and looked around but couldn’t see anything but complete darkness. The queen’s light began to show slowly in a distance, getting closer and closer, the closer it gets the brighter it becomes!

As the light gets brighter it revealed all the space around me, It was magnificent!

I saw colors I’d never seen before, very vivid colors, beautiful colors that I couldn’t even imagine!

The light stops 2 meters away from me.

2 meters is 6.5 feet btw

It was a human figure standing in front of me, I couldn’t see anything but a silhouette of that form as the light is brighter than ever!

Human figure: WHY!?

WHY DID YOU KILL THEM?

Me: KILL!!?

Who did I kill?

Human figure: My people!

You forced them to be zombies!!!

Me: BUT THEY ARE STILL MOVING!

Human figure: I know you know they are dead, you thought of stepping on them when they attacked you!

Me: Queen?

Is that you?

Where am I?

Where did you take me?

What happened to my lab?

Human figure: You humans are such a disgusting species, I told you to take care of my people, and instead, you killed them!

WHY !??

Me: I’m so confused right now!

Am I dead too?

Who are you?

Human figure: UGGH!!

(Mumbling) *$&% Stupid @?$# humans!!

The human figure reached its hand to me and touched my forehead, I froze and I understood everything!

That was the queen showing me her spiritual form, coming to my mind trapping me inside it, and showing me what it had turned into!

My mind is very colorful I know you realize that from this story so far .. enjoy :)

Queen: You are a spiritual being having a human experience, the darkness that you were in, was your greed and your human nature, it was blocking your true self and full potential.

Thank god I cleared that away.

(mumbling) stupid humans

Me: so you're saying that I can be …

Queen: yes yes yes and yes!

Me: but I …

Queen: I can read your mind remember?

Me: oh right...

Queen: I know why you created new zombies and I know what you hoped to get from that. But let me just explain to you a few things since now you disrupted the balance between the living shrooms and the zombies!

Me: …

Queen: good, you now learned to listen (chuckles)

First of all, I’m not a shroom, that’s just plain stupid!

But for your sake and your human brain's limited abilities to understand this, your subconscious chose to have me as a shroom.

I’m your higher self trying to guide you through your journey towards fulfilling your true purpose in life, which is the same as any other spiritual being, you’re not special and not chosen, you chose to change!

Remember when you started meditating and having questions about your existence?

Here are your answers!

All spiritual beings are a part of one big spirit, you can call it God or the universe or anything you believe in.

You’re here for one thing and one thing only, to help and be helped!

Once you start to get greedy and your human nature takes over, you start to become a limited version of your true self.

You did see how dark your mind was!

Now that you see your true full potential as a spirit, don’t let your human nature get in the way again, it can darken up your mind again!

Me: …

Queen: let that sink in and let’s get back to how you can fix what you did with all those zombies you created for a bullsh*t reason.

Me: yeah … let's do that …

Queen: I gave you (500) zombies as a way to promote your work here in the metaverse, you did good by giving them away but when you got greedy you sold (488) by mistake, I know it was not your intention but you did get greedy and look how it made everything worse!

All those zombies were connected to one queen, that was good!

It doesn’t drain the queen and if the maximum number can get to (750) zombies then it will be dangerous for the queen.

Me: (in shock) I CREATED (3250) MORE !!!

Queen: you tried to balance it with making new queens (50) exactly!

It was a good idea what you did, but you can’t have more than one queen!

Me: can I keep only one and delete the rest?

Queen: then what would you do with all those zombies?

Me: good point!

Queen: see how your greed made your journey harder?

Not to mention you sold (1000) for a fraction of their future value!

(Mumbling) #$@% stupid humans!

And you just kept on making it worse by trying to invest that money you made on someone else’s project without doing any research!

Me: …

Queen: and stop referring to me as queen in your made-up story!

Me: what should I call you then?

Spiritual guide: you can call me SpiritualShroom.

Me: done!

SpiritualShroom: I like the sound of that actually (in a deep voice) BEHOLD IM THE SPIRITUALSHROOM!!

(Laughs) see I got jokes too!

Anyway.. you can’t be a king anymore too!

One king and 50 queens?

If that doesn’t work, get more people to join your shrooms and have them choose the way they want to enter the kingdom of shrooms!

Me: people shrooms?

SpiritualShroom: something like that yeah!

You created this story so add more characters, why not?

Me: but how can I do that?

SpiritualShroom: let them choose!

It has to be their choice, just like you chose to do all this, let them have their own choice on how they can enter your shroom kingdom!

It’s not a kingdom anymore isn’t it, without a king (laughs).

Me: why did you become mean out of a sudden?

SpiritualShroom: I’m enjoying your confusion!

(Laughs hysterically)

Me: …

SpiritualShroom: the shrooms are going to affect the real world but you need humans to affect the shrooms too!

Real-life people can join the shrooms and be shroom-ified!

Human traits can restore the balance of the living and the dead shrooms here!

Give the shrooms time to grow back to life, you killed (3250) after all!

Me: …

I take a couple of steps back and take a look around how colorful my mind is, realizing that the journey is long and eventually everything will happen!

I turn back to the SpiritualShroom and its shining Brighter to the point I had to cover my eyes and close them tight.

I wake up on the floor of my lab exhausted, thinking that this all was just a dream but when I stand up and try to leave I hear a voice inside my head, the SpiritualShroom’s voice again whispering “start with magic”.
